Well, it’s been one heck of a month so far. Here are some pictures of Peter, just to keep my won spirits up. He’s a treasure, and keeps us all focused on the important things in life. He’ll be four months old on 8/18, making this the fastest four months to pass for me in years.
This is Peter having a blast. He loves to laugh, and we get him going for endless stretches. I think we could charge admission to watch his aunts doing all sorts of silly things to make him laugh. |

This one is Peter holding his feet. He started out with just his left hand on his left foot, then branched out to both hands on both feet, and now he has both hands on one foot, and who knows what’s next. In this one, he’s particularly contemplative. |
This is Peter taking his first step in the Atlantic Ocean! We went down to Wareham for a few days with the extended family, and Peter had a blast stepping on the periwinkles and snails. We found some clams, both hard and soft shell, (we call the hard shell ones quohogs … no idea how to really spell that). That’s his beautiful mom, Stephanie, holding him up. |
In this one, he looks a little sad. He was having fun, as the 50 or 60 other pictures I took at this sitting would show, but I thought he was cute as a button anyway, and needed a variety of facial expressions, so I’m including this one too. Once again, his beautiful mom is keeping him upright. This was taken a few weeks ago, and he can almost hold himself completely up now! |
